In the spirit of celebration and heritage, I believe it is time to revive an important tradition: Victoria Day fireworks. Victoria Day, commemorating Queen Victoria’s birthday, has long been a significant day in Canada’s history. It marks the unofficial start of summer, a time when communities come together in celebration and reflection of our historical roots.

But I also know that it is important to include community members in these conversations, and I want to hear from you on whether you would support the return of fireworks for Victoria Day. Please consider taking the 1-question survey below to share your feedback.

Do you support the Town of East Gwillimbury once again holding fireworks celebrations for Victoria Day?
